Blades' Bistro opened its doors in March 2009 by Kevin and Anja Bladergroen. Kevin, who was formally trained in Paris, is the executive chef and Anja has 20 years experience in restaurant management. Their dedication to the best in food, wine, and service has made this restaurant one of the Albuquerque area newest dining spots.

Blades' Bistro with its warm atmosphere offers uncomplicated, unpretentious food and daily specials. This is all done with high quality ingredients, “the melting pot of taste”. A little of this and a little of that make rustic food so inviting. This is all brought together country side in a classical Bistro setting.

French Onion Soup — Topped with a toasted baguette and melted layer of gruyere cheese

Roasted Corn Crab Fritters — Blue crab, jalapeno, corn kernels,maple buttermilk sauce

Kevin's Chef Salad — Arugula greens tossed with extra virgin olive oil; artichoke hearts, grilled asparagus, and shaved parmesan

Boeuf Bourguignonne Encroûte — Braised sirloin beef tips stewed in red wine, garlic, onions, mushrooms, pearl onions served in puff pastry shell, mashed potatoes

Moules Et Frites (Mussels And Fries) — Prince Edward Island Mussels Dutch Style, white wine, mir poix vegetables, Maitre d'butter and a side of mustard-mayonaise sauce

Bistro Chicken — Sauteed chicken breast, with creamy tarragon muschroom demi sauce

Fresh North Atlantic Salmon — Grilled with a honey mustard dill glaze
